Zoe is an Associate in the Firm’s Toronto office. She is an experienced education lawyer who represents school boards and higher education institutions across the province as part of Mathews Dinsdale’s Education Practice Group. She regularly appears in arbitrations and Ontario Labour Relations Board and Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario proceedings on behalf of school boards and community colleges. In addition, Zoe has expertise in human rights, student accommodation, student discipline and special education matters, and regularly advises our clients on those complex issues.

Zoe represents employers in labour and employment disputes before arbitrators, administrative tribunals, and courts. Her practice includes advocacy in a variety of workplace-related matters, including labour relations, human rights, workers’ compensation, and civil litigation. She manages files through all stages of the dispute resolution process, helping clients navigate challenging situations and achieve practical outcomes.

In addition to her advocacy work, Zoe advises clients on workplace and student conduct investigations, sexual violence matters, crisis management, and incident response. She also regularly provides strategic counsel to boards, senior leadership teams, and governance bodies on complex and sensitive issues, helping organizations manage risk and respond effectively to emerging challenges.
