Allison joined Mathews Dinsdale as an articling student in our Calgary office after completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan where she graduated with distinction.
During law school, Allison was involved in mentoring and tutoring first year law students and was an active member of the Labour and Employment and Corporate Clubs. Allison also worked in the Central Agencies and Justice Policy Unit at the Department of Justice in Newfoundland.
Prior to obtaining her law degree, Allison received her Bachelor of Commerce degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland. During that time, she gained valuable experience in her three work‑terms at a large energy company in the Human Resources department, sparking her interest in labour and employment law. During her undergrad, she studied abroad in London, England and spent a summer working at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
While not at work, Allison enjoys running, skiing and travelling.
