Rand is an Associate in the firm’s Toronto office, having both summered and articled with the firm.

Rand earned her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she was actively involved in her school community. Rand mentored first year students as a Dean’s Fellow for the Public and Constitutional Law course and through Pro Bono Students Canada, she acted as a Project Lead, facilitating and supporting student placements. In addition, Rand volunteered with the Smith Immigration Group, assisting clients with their applications by conducting interviews and preparing submissions.

Prior to pursuing her law degree, Rand completed her Bachelor of Health Sciences at Western University where she graduated with a Specialization in Health Sciences. She also worked closely with small business owners, including managing day-to-day operations at her family’s business, which gave her first-hand insight into the challenges employers face and inspired her interest in employer-side workplace issues.
