Gloria acts as Counsel in the firm’s Calgary office, practising in all areas of business immigration law. She advises employers across a wide range of industries on navigating the complexities of Canadian immigration and related employment matters. Gloria has extensive experience representing corporate employers in securing Canadian work authorization for international talent and supports both short-term and long-term workforce and global mobility objectives.
Gloria routinely provides strategic legal advice and practical solutions in connection with temporary residence applications, including business visitor visas and a broad range of work permits, such as those requiring Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs) and LMIA-exempt work permits. She also prepares permanent residence applications under various pathways, including Express Entry and provincial nominee programs, as well as citizenship applications for employees of corporate clients.
In the community, Gloria is a dedicated mentor, volunteer, and actively engaged in the immigration law bar. She currently serves as an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association, Immigration Section (Southern Alberta) and is a monthly volunteer with Calgary Legal Guidance (CLG) where she provides summary legal advice and pro-bono support to newcomers and their families through the Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association (CIWA).
