Sheryl is the Education Practice Manager in our Toronto office. She has extensive experience in labour and employment law, with a particular focus on supporting school boards and education-sector associations.

Sheryl provides the Firm’s Education sector clients with efficient, coordinated and responsive support throughout the lifecycle of their legal matters. Her collaborative and client-focused approach helps clients navigate complex workplace and labour relations issues while ensuring matters progress smoothly and efficiently.

Drawing on her strong understanding of the education sector’s operational and labour relations environment, Sheryl has developed trusted working relationships with school board administrators, union counsel and arbitrators. She is experienced in matters involving grievance arbitration, applications before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Ontario Labour Relations Board, proceedings at various levels of court, and the interpretation and administration of school board collective agreements.

Sheryl plays an integral role in the management of legal proceedings. Her responsibilities include drafting and processing submissions, preparing and filing responses, coordinating and scheduling hearings, monitoring deadlines, and supporting the timely progression of matters.
