Profile

Rick previously served as Counsel to Mathews, Dinsdale & Clark LLP.  Rick graduated from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law in 1972 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1974.  Rick was repeatedly cited as a leading labour relations lawyer in Best Lawyers in Canada, cited in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, and cited in Who’s Who in Canada.

Rick advised on a full range of labour relations issues for both public and private sector employers in Canada. This includes representation in collective bargaining, interest and rights arbitrations, and advising on the interpretation of collective agreements.

Rick’s advice was sought by both municipal and provincial governments in Ontario with respect to collective bargaining.

Rick was a member of the Advisory Committee for the Queen’s University Centre for Law in the Contemporary Workplace. Rick also co-chaired and presented at conferences and seminars on labour and employment law in the policing sector for over 30 years.
