We honour the legacy of our former Partner and Managing Partner, Mark D. Contini, whose leadership, intellect, and generosity left a lasting impact on our Firm and the legal profession.

Mark was a highly respected workplace lawyer who advised employers across all industries and sectors. He was widely recognized for his thought leadership and frequently spoke on emerging issues in workplace law.

Mark dedicated almost 45 years to clients and colleagues of the Firm. He served as the Firm’s Managing Partner from 2012 through 2022, and was a long-standing member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.

Mark helped shape the Firm’s direction and culture, leading with clarity, integrity, and a deep commitment to excellence. He was known for his strategic insight and his ability to approach even the most challenging matters with thoughtfulness and care.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mark was a generous mentor and a valued colleague. He had a rare ability to combine sharp legal analysis with empathy, and he took great pride in guiding and supporting others. Many lawyers at the firm credit Mark with having a profound impact on their careers and professional development.

Mark will be deeply missed. His legacy endures in the people he mentored, the values he championed, and the standard of professionalism he set. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of working with him.
