Makenzie is an Articling Student in our Toronto office and a recent graduate of Western University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to articling, Makenzie was a Summer Student with the Firm.

During law school, Makenzie was actively involved in the Western Law community. She founded and served as President of the Western Law Walking Club, where she helped create opportunities for students to connect and build community outside the classroom.

Prior to pursuing her law degree, Makenzie earned a Bachelor of Arts from Toronto Metropolitan University, specializing in Criminology. She also worked with her family’s construction company, where she gained exposure to the management side of the business and workplace issues faced by employers. This experience contributed to her interest in labour and employment law, particularly from an employer perspective.
