Lijing is an articling student and a recent graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. She joined Mathews Dinsdale as a summer student in our Toronto office. She is interested in the areas of employment litigation, labour arbitration, and human rights law.
Prior to completing her JD at Osgoode, Lijing obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English at York University, where she graduated with distinction, and a Master of Science at the University of Toronto in Sustainability Management, which sparked her interest in law and policy. During law school, she mentored first-year students and worked with numerous organizations, including Pro Bono Students Canada, as a law student volunteer conducting research for the Northwest Territories Human Rights Commission COVID-19 and Jurisdiction Matters research project.
In her free time, Lijing enjoys hiking, travelling, singing, and playing music. She is passionate about languages and speaks intermediate French, German and Mandarin.
