The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario

Hafssa Mahmood is a Paralegal Graduate and an accredited Law Clerk. She is currently in the process of obtaining her license with the Law Society of Ontario. Hafssa supports the Firm’s lawyers in the areas of Employment, Labour, Human Rights, Immigration, and Litigation Law. She drafts pleadings, gathers facts and analyses documents, schedules court hearings, files with the Ontario courts, and liaises with clients and related parties. 

Hafssa’s academic journey took her to Baghdad University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law, enriching her with a global perspective. Subsequently, she broadened her horizons by obtaining a postgraduate diploma in the Paralegal Program at Trios College. 

Hafssa has been a member of the Iraqi Bar Association for Lawyers since 2015 and is currently a member of ILCO. 

In her Spare Time, Hafssa enjoys swimming, playing badminton, hiking, skydiving and bungee jumping.
