Amelia is an Articling Student at the Mathews Dinsdale Toronto office and a recent graduate of Western Law. She first joined Mathews Dinsdale as a Summer Student in 2024, continuing her longstanding interest in labour and employment law.

Before attending law school, Amelia earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Labour Studies from McMaster University, graduating summa cum laude. Her undergraduate studies provided her with a broad, interdisciplinary foundation in the field of labour and employment, covering areas such as collective bargaining, human rights, organizational behaviour, human resource management, and employment regulations.

Following her first year at Western Law, Amelia spent the summer working for one of North America’s largest professional sports unions, where she gained practical experience in a fast-paced, high-profile environment while developing a broader appreciation for the complex dynamics of labour relations.
